Malcolm is a Partner and Head of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team. He focuses on high-value and complex cases, particularly serious and long-term brain injury and child abuse. Malcolm delivers training through the APIL to other solicitors on the Law of Damages. He is an Accredited Brain Injury Specialist (APIL). He deals with multi-million-pound compensation cases and is one of a limited number of brain injury assessors approved by the Association of Personal Injury Specialists. He is also an assessor for the Law Society’s Catastrophic Injury Accreditation scheme.
Malcolm is on The Law Society Personal Injury Panel; he is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He is a member of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers; Headway (the brain injury association); an Accredited Brain Injury Specialist (APIL) and The Spinal Injuries Association.
Malcolm started his career with Prudential Assurance before joining Prince Evans in 1993. This was followed by Partnership at Vizards Wyeth before joining IBB as a Partner in 2003.
Malcolm publishes articles in the Observer, The Times, Solicitors Journal, Journal of Personal Injury Law and Personal Injury Law Journal.
