Chambers Women in Law Awards: Latin America 2018

"The Chambers Women Awards is a terrific initiative of Chambers. This reinforces once more how it is important to treat the diversity issues as priority inside the organizations, not only law firms but also companies."
Luciana Tornovsky, Partner, Demarest Advogados

The Chambers Women in Law Awards: Latin America 2018 in association with Carey took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Santiago, Chile, on Thursday, 10th May 2018.  The Awards were also sponsored by BKM - Berkemeyer for Paraguay and Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados for Peru.

Over the past four years we have conducted extensive research into gender diversity in Latin America and hosted diversity seminars across the region, including events in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Santiago and Bogotá. The Women in Law Awards represent the culmination of our research and also celebrate those who are advancing gender equality and providing equal opportunities to women across Latin America.

The Chambers Women in Law Awards recognise those pioneers who have furthered the advancement of women within the legal sphere. The Awards seek to highlight these achievements, empower the people behind innovative women’s initiatives, and give greater visibility to gender diversity.
