Kate Chorley is a Partner in the commercial property department and has over 20 years’ experience of dealing with commercial property. Kate acts for a number of significant developers and investors and handles all types of transactions including property acquisitions, funding arrangements, leases and agreements for lease. Kate also has specialist expertise in agricultural and rural affairs. She advises farmers, landowners, rural businesses and farm related organisations on the acquisition and disposal of agricultural and rural properties, agricultural tenancies/farm business tenancies secured lending in relation to agricultural property, option agreements and land promotion agreements. Kate also advises on renewable energy agreements and has led on a number of significant solar farm and wind turbine projects.
Kate trained and worked at Eversheds for a number of years before joining Cocks Lloyd as a Partner. Kate joined BHW as a Partner in 2009.
