Marjory has practised Family Law for over thirty years in Scotland and in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session. Collaboratively trained, recognising that the manner in which a relationship breakdown is handled by advisors can impact on the outcomes for the family and particularly the children in the future. Extensive experience in all aspects of family law, including cases with complex asset structures or with an international dimension, and in both non contentious work and litigation. Recent cases: the subjects of co-habitation, including drafting co-habitation agreements, drafting pre and post-nuptial agreements, unjustified enrichment, protective remedies including child protection issues, relocation issues, cases with International dimensions, pension sharing, property transfers, orders for sale and dissolution of Civil Partnership. Skilled in drafting all family law related agreements to regulate the financial consequences of relationships, both at the outset and following breakdown. A particular interest in Adoption including International Adoption.
