Emily is the head of the family department at Turpin & Miller LLP.
She undertakes any complex family (children law) cases but particularly specialises in representing parents in care proceedings and adoption cases. She has a lot of experience in non-accidental injury (NAI) cases and other litigation that involves extensive medical evidence.
Emily regularly undertakes advocacy and has been led in the High Court and Court of Appeal.

Emily started her legal career in central London. She joined Turpin & Miller LLP in 2006 and established the family department. She became a partner in 2010 and spent some years as the firm's Managing Partner. She continues to head up the family department.
