Personal injury: mainly defendant and dispute resolution. Has a wealth of defence litigation expertise across all disciplines to include employer's liability, public liability, motor and commercial, acting on the panel of some of Northern Ireland's leading general and motor insurance providers as well as a number of private corporate entities. Works closely with Johnsons defamation/reputation management department headed up by Paul Tweed.

Former Head Boy of Banbridge Academy, graduated from Liverpool University and the Institure of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast. Completed training at TD Gibson & Co, Carleton Atkinson & Sloan before joining Johnsons in 1991 as a newly qualified solicitor. Appointed Partner in 2000. Active member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) and former chair of FOIL Northern Ireland Region.
Married with four children.
