Recent successes as Solicitor Advocate include MacRoberts LLP v McCrindle Group Ltd (successfully acting for Pursuers at appeal and trail in a Professional Indemnity matter); Esso Petroleum Co Ltd v Scottish Ministers (successfully acting for the Interlink joint venture at trial in a dispute about contaminated land); ELB Securities Ltd v Alan Love (successfully acting at Appeal in this dispute about the terms of Section 1034 of the Companies Act 2006); Cora Foundation v East Dunbartonshire Council (successfully acting in Appeal regarding damages for riot); Hendrick v Chief Constable (acting in an Appeal against the decision of the Lord Ordinary in a Judicial Review action).
