Roddy has considerable experience in capital taxes planning for individuals and trusts. He is vastly experienced in will and trust drafting and administration. He advises clients regularly on the best ways to mitigate future tax liabilities through capital gains and inheritance tax planning. He helps entrepreneurs with succession planning for their businesses, as well as families dealing with their personal assets. He advises families on the use of trusts, Powers of Attorney and guardianship in asset protection for the vulnerable, including the disabled, elderly and young. He provides legal advice to charities on formation and management issues and has established a number of trusts and companies. He received a distinction in the inaugural STEP Advanced certificate in Family Enterprise Advising.
