Elizabeth specialises in personal injury litigation, concentrating on industrial injury claims. She has acted in high profile claims for actors and dancers and for the past seven years has focused on high-value stress at work and Work Related Upper Limb Disorder cases, often for nurses or radiographers, despite the high risk inherent in such claims. Recently, she has settled two stress claims for nurses, amounting to over £450,000 each, and two WRULD claims for ultrasonographers for £387,000. While these are often referred by unions, Elizabeth's reputation in these fields has led to a steady increase in the number of clients in different professions who have instructed her under private conditional fee agreements, particularly in relation to stress at work claims. Elizabeth also specialises in manual handling injuries and undertakes high value "catastrophic injury" claims. Elizabeth attended trials on five occasions last year and succeeded in all of these. She has settled a number of high-value claims this year, including a WRULD case in Scotland.
