Jeremy practices in public and local government law, specialising in planning and environment, compulsory purchase and compensation, and rating. He has a particular expertise in energy and infrastructure matters and is acknowledged as a leading practitioner in renewable energy. Recent cases and high-profile public inquiries include matters concerning wind energy, gas storage, EU habitats and birds legislation, retail planning, marine planning and licensing, and village greens. He acts for the private and public sector, and sits as an Inspector advising registration authorities in village green matters. As well as appearances in the higher courts and at planning inquiries, Jeremy appears in the Upper Tribunal and Valuation Tribunal.
