Ed Grant is an experienced barrister specialising in planning law, noted for his expertise as an Inquiry advocate. He is regularly instructed by both developers and local authorities to act in relation to very substantial housing developments, including significant Town Centre regeneration schemes. In 2016 and 2017 he has been instructed in relation to town centre developments in Croydon (180 residential units), Hornsey (70 residential units plus commercial), and Ashford (280 residential units plus commercial), a green belt housing scheme in Edenbridge (300 residential units), and the Clapham Park development scheme. In addition, he is noted for his particular expertise in planning enforcement matters, where he is regularly instructed to resolve particular complexities.
