CLG v Chief Constable of Merseyside  EWCA Civ 836 – successful at trial and on appeal defending claim for alleged wrongful disclosure of witnesses’ identities to criminal defendants in a criminal trial. R (on application of Commissioner of Police) v Police Appeals Tribunal  EWHC 4309 (admin) – judicial review of PAT decision to reinstate Special Constable. A & B v Chief Constable of Hampshire  EWHC 1517 – successful strike out of a claim that the police had caused unauthorised disclosures of an informer’s identity during court proceedings, where the disclosures were protected by the core immunity applying to court proceedings. Numerous police misconduct cases including: two Metropolitan police officers dismissed for exchanging inappropriate racist and discriminatory text messages; a Metropolitan Police officer dismissed for seriously mishandling 999 calls; five Merseyside Matrix officers dismissed for unprofessional and improper behaviour during a search.
