Our Litigation Department is heavily oriented towards complex commercial litigation in a wide variety of fields. Right now the Department is involved in a multi-district antitrust litigation in Alabama; it is defending a client against a government initiated action related to the opioids controversy; represents defendants in a civil RICO case about the management of several foundations; represents plaintiffs in a constitutional litigation against the federal government regarding social assistance programs in Puerto Rico; and represents the largest group of public debt creditors in the most important aspect of Puerto Rico's bankruptcy proceedings under the PROMESA Law. In the past it has litigated fraud, securities, super fund, distribution law, labor and trademark cases among many others. The Department also has a substantial ADR practice. The Department represents all sorts of corporate clients from hedge funds to international conglomerates, pharmaceuticals and manufacturers.
