Called to the Bar of England and Wales by Gray's Inn in 1981
University of London, SOAS, LLB 1979, and University College, LLM 1980. Following pupillage at 3 Essex Court (now 20 Essex Street), Mr Haberbeck worked with Coward Chance (now Clifford Chance) in London and Jeddah from 1982 to 1986. He subsequently worked with Thomas Miller & Co and Richards Butler (now Reed Smith) in London. He returned to Saudi Arabia in 1991, which brings his cumulative experience as a lawyer in Saudi Arabia to 27 years.
Mr Haberbeck is the co-author of the books "The Maritime Laws of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council States" (1986) and "Saudi Shipping Law" (1990).
