For many years Marco has been active in the intellectual property, technology and media sectors, advising his clients – including major international players – in a broad range of IT and IP related transactional matters. His work covers also litigations, especially for technology, internet and media companies and, in this area, Marco won several landmark cases for his clients.
He started as associate at Frere Cholmeley Bishoff and then worked for Andersen Legal, becoming a partner of the firm in 1996. He was a co-founder of the Milan branch of the leading firm Galgano and head of the IP/IT practice up to 2007 when the firm merged with Dewey & LeBoeuf where he became responsible of the Italian TMT practice. In 2011, Marco and his group joined Orsingher Avvocati Associati.
Marco Consonni graduated with a law degree at the University of Milan in 1988.
