Partner Jean-Nicolas Clément provides advice and assistance in litigation matters pertaining to industrial environmental law (installations classified for the protection of the environment, water, waste), nuclear law and energy law (regulation of the electricity sector, renewable energies: wind, solar, hydro, etc.), mining law and activities. He is a member of the French Environment Ministry’s workgroup on contaminated sites and soil, and teaches environment law at the Université Paris-I and the law school of Sciences-Po.
Admitted, Paris Bar (1990). Prior to joining Gide, he was a partner at UGGC for 14 years as head of their Environment-Energy department.
