As a member of the Austrian Arbitration Association (ArbAut), the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), the Association Suisse de l’Arbitrage (ASA) and the Liechtenstein Arbitration Association (LIS), he successfully represents clients not only before national courts but also in national and international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Here his focus lies on complex disputes arising from M&A transactions, industrial and infrastructure projects, banking and finance as well as international sales and distribution agreements. Nikolaus Vavrovsky also regularly sits as a party-appointed or sole arbitrator in international arbitrations. While many of these proceedings are conducted under the ICC or Vienna Rules, his experience also extends to the rules of other institutions and ad-hoc arbitrations.
In addition to his dispute resolution expertise, Nikolaus Vavrovsky is furthermore specilized on real estate and construction law where he regularly counsels clients in connection with complex national and international transactions and real estate development. Moreover, he often counsels clients in real estate and construction law related disputes.
