■ Advising both borrowers and lenders in connection with numerous project financing transactions in the renewable energy sector, in particular for the construction and operation of wind-power plants in Austria
■ Advising international credit institutions and/or their local branches in connection with regulatory questions concerning their banking activities in Austria
■ Advising several hedge funds as bondholders of Heta Asset Resolution AG, a formerly nationalised Austrian bank, before the Austrian courts and the European Court of Justice (ECJ) as to certain questions of interpretation concerning the implementation of the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) in Austria

Capital Markets:
■ Advising Austrian and international banking syndicates as lead managers in connection with high volume debt capital market transactions of Austrian credit institutions (with issuance volumes of up to EUR 1 billion), such as the issuance of AT1-capital, Tier 2 capital, Pfandbrief- or covered bonds by Austrian credit institutions
■ Advising Austrian and international banking syndicates as lead managers in connection with (deeply) subordinated notes/bonds by Austrian corporates
■ Advising Austrian issuers on equity capital markets transactions, including the first securities offering promoted through a crowd funding platform in Austria (as opposed to a placement by an investment bank)
■ Advising certain parties in investigation proceedings before the Austrian Takeover Commission concerning questions as to whether the obligation to publish a takeover offer pursuant to section 22 et seq. of the Austrian Takeover Act has been violated

Restructuring & Insolvency:
■ Advising an Austrian bank in connection with the sale of its distressed debt portfolio towards Alpine to a hedge fund specialising in distressed debt transactions (NPL-transaction)
■ Advising a financing bank in connection with the restructuring of the Asamer group
■ Advising Citigroup in connection with the sale of a distressed loan portfolio to a foreign investor

■ Advising the shareholders of Ranorex, an Austrian company specialising in automated test solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications, on the sale of 100% of their equity shares in the Austrian software developer to American database specialist Idera, Inc.
■ Advising the equity shareholders of Loytec Group on the sale of their shares in Loytec Electronics GmbH and Innocontrol Electronics GmbH to Delta Electronics International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Electronics, Inc., a global leader in power and thermal management solutions
■ Advising Merkury Market, a leading distributor of interior furnishings and construction materials in CEE, on the acquisition of bauMax, Austria’s biggest hypermarket chain, in the Czech Republic
