■ Acted for China’s Legend Holdings on its investment in Kailis Bros seafood; Legend’s first major Australian investment
■ Acted for NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) on Australia’s biggest social and affordable housing renewal development at Ivanhoe
■ Advised on the restructure of NAB’s wealth management business (as part of the sale of 80 per cent of its life insurance business), including combining five of its superannuation funds to create a new flagship fund, the MLC Super Fund
■ Advised The Kraft Heinz Company on its acquisition of Cerebos Pacific Ltd’s food and instant coffee business, including iconic brands such as Gravox, SAXA, Fountain and Foster Clark’s
■ Acted for Murdoch University in its successful enterprise agreement termination application; the first enterprise agreement termination made in the university sector
■ Represented the Commissioner of Taxation in Australia in landmark transfer pricing litigation against Chevron Australia Holdings (CAHPL)
■ Represented Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd (WICET) in one of the largest construction disputes seen in Australia
■ Acted for the International Air Transport Association intervention in the Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia in the precedent setting price-fixing case, ACCC v Flight Centre
■ Advised AGL on a complex industrial dispute in relation to its Loy Yang A power station and coal mine in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria
■ Acted for Baring Private Equity Asia in its acquisition of risk management, compliance and property services company SAI Global
■ Advised Tokyo based Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) on its first public market takeover in Australia
■ Acted for Anglo American to advise on the divestment of all of its Australian coal mining assets
■ Advised Hastings Deering on the $105m sale and leaseback of three key industrial property assets in Queensland
■ Advised the Queensland Government on the $158m Brisbane International Cruise Terminal
