We truly operate as a single firm. This enables us to always assign the best team of lawyers in accordance with the specific needs of a client. Each of our offices works on transactions that rank among the most significant in their markets so our clients can rely on unified high quality work. Our lawyers have years of experience of working together on cross-border transactions. Our clients have one point of contact.

Our Work

As an example, we recently advised on the spin-off of the traditional lamps business of OSRAM, a leading global lamps producer, in 10 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. Products such as halogen bulbs, energy-saving bulbs as well as certain LED bulbs were brought under a new brand: LEDVANCE. The new subsidiary has more than 10,000 employees. Alone at Wolf Theiss, approximately 30 lawyers have been working on this large multijurisdictional transaction. We were selected due to our expertise, our ability to immediately mobilize and coordinate a large and specialized team of lawyers in all relevant countries, and our long track record of large transactions in CEE/SEE.
