Chambers USA Women in Law Awards
More than 200 distinguished guests attended Chambers USA Women in Law Awards in a ceremony honoring the outstanding female stars of the USA legal community.
The award ceremony took place on February 2nd 2012 at The Plaza, 5th Avenue, New York.
The ceremony is the most comprehensive national awards for women lawyers across the US to date and was well supported by America's leading corporate counsel, who are the driving force for diversity in US law firms.
One of the notable features of this awards ceremony was the recognition in each category of the 'Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year' – an award helping to identify and encourage the stars of the future.
Sidley Austin won the award for its outstanding contribution to gender diversity awareness whilst Morris Manning & Martin landed the award for the best mentoring program in a law firm.
