Allan Kanner of Kanner & Whiteley, LLC, a national law firm based in New Orleans, specializes in complex litigation, class actions and trials, handling substantial matters throughout the US. He is especially well known for his commercial, toxic tort, environmental, natural resource damages, Medicaid fraud and first-party insurance cases. He currently represents the State of Louisiana in the BP Oil Spill litigation. He also represents the State of New Jersey in many of its Natural Resource Damages Matters including serving as lead counsel in a nine month trial against Exxon Mobil in 2014. He has served as an adjunct professor at Tulane, Duke, Yale and University of Texas Law Schools. He is the author of two books and over 80 scholarly articles.
