Career: Katharine Crost's practice involves advising issuers, underwriters, servicers and institutional purchasers in connection with the securitization of a variety of assets, including mortgages, tax liens, tobacco litigation settlement funds and utility stranded costs. Her mortgage-backed experience has involved seasoned mortgage loans and reverse mortgage loans. She represents financial institutions, private companies, governmental agencies and municipalities and has advised clients on innovative transactions and proposals that address issues arising from the financial crisis and housing and financial regulatory reform.
