Practice Areas: Experience in mutual fund, annuity, insurance and securities class action defense and complex civil litigations. Regularly represents individuals and corporations in SEC and CFTC enforcement matters. Has tried securities fraud, theft of trade secrets and covenant-not-to compete cases to verdict. Current engagements include defense of lender in subprime matters, defense of an investment bank in an antitrust class action and defense of qui tam actions. Mr. Carroll regularly represents clients in contested matters against the Massachusetts Attorney General's office and Massachusetts Securities Division.
