Career: Mark A. Harris is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Private Equity/Investment Funds Practice and a member of its Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. Mr. Harris advises public and private companies, private equity funds and management teams on acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, corporate financings, spin-offs and other complex transactions, as well as on securities, corporate governance and internal investigation matters. His clients include both well-established healthcare, software, media and industrial businesses and start-up entrepreneurial ventures and technology companies. His significant recent deals include Wrapports’ acquisition of the Chicago Sun-Times and various transactions for Merge Healthcare and Health Care Service Corporation.
