Practice Areas: James D. Cooper is a partner in Cravath’s Corporate Department. He represents and advises banking clients in a wide variety of domestic and international financing transactions, including financings of mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations and spin-offs, working capital financings and various special-purpose financings. Mr. Cooper also counsels corporate borrowers negotiating financing arrangements with banks and other financial institutions.
