Career: Vincent E. Lazar is Co-Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy Litigation Practice and a member of its Bankruptcy, Workout and Corporate Reorganization Practice. Mr. Lazar represents debtors, trustees, committees, lenders and creditors in high-profile bankruptcies and related litigation, handles corporate governance disputes in distressed situations, and advises clients with respect to asset acquisitions, divestitures and successor liability issues. He is particularly recognized for his expertise in commodity broker bankruptcy situations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, a contributing author for the leading bankruptcy treatise Colliers on Bankruptcy and a frequent speaker on panels discussing bankruptcy-related topics.
