Practice Areas: Consultant in the Media Department. Main areas of practice are broadcasting and publishing. Includes pre and post-publication advice on defamation, contempt, privacy, confidence and copyright, and regulatory advice for the broadcasting industry. Also advises on media contracts eg rights acquisition and exploitation and sponsorship. Patrick is a Council Member of the British Board of Film Classification and advises on legal issues arising in the film classification process.

Career: Joined Goodman Derrick in 1974. Qualified 1976. Became Partner in 1979 in the Media Department and a Consultant in 2009.
