Practice Areas: Primarily responsible for the development of Skadden's utility merger and acquisition practice, a subgroup of the Corporate Practice that handles utility acquisition transactions. Represents a wide variety of clients in merger and other acquisition transactions. Involved in many recent public utility merger transactions. Has also been involved in many recent generation assets divestiture transactions. Clients include Duke Energy Corporation, National Grid plc, CMS Energy Corporation, Northeast Utilities, TECO Energy, Inc. New England Electric System and Edison Mission Energy.
