Practice Areas: Philip Claverie is a Senior Partner in the New Orleans Business Group. His practice includes banking, commercial, real estate and probate. He represents financial institutions in transactions involving financing, mergers/acquisitions and working capital. He represents real estate developers with various development projects, from major office buildings to shopping centers. As general counsel to a large petrochemical manufacturer, he handles all aspects of business law, from contract preparation/review to financing and real estate, to corporate formation/restructuring, and supervises activities, such as environmental, tax, and employee benefit matters.
