Practice Areas: Head of Professional Indemnity Department with over 25 years’ professional negligence experience. She has broadened the department's expertise beyond traditional law, property and accountancy to include clients in media and education. Also acts on behalf of local authorities, education authorities, schools and universities, as well as for social services in professional liability. Charlotte heads a team of nearly 40 lawyers in London specialising in professional indemnity work. With leading insurers as clients, Charlotte also regularly advises on policy cover, policy avoidance and fraud. Recent high-profile cases include many large mortgage fraud claims against solicitors and surveyors.
