Practice Areas: Michael Goodwin focuses on real estate development, hospitality, public/private partnerships, and debt and equity financing transactions. He represents developers, institutions and governmental organizations in all aspects of commercial development projects, including land acquisition, ground leases, debt and equity financing, and is heavily involved in structuring and negotiating public incentives for development such as TIFs, PILOTs and tax abatement. He also represents hotel owners and operators in the acquisition, development and operation of hospitality properties nationwide, including full service, convention center and resort hotels.
