Practice Areas: Scott M Sontag is a co-head of the firm’s Tax Department. His practice is focused primarily on structuring and negotiating domestic and international M&A transactions for private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as the firm’s publicly held clients. In addition, he advises clients extensively on transactions involving the formation and acquisition of real estate investment trusts, real estate restructurings and the federal income tax aspects of executive compensation arrangements.
