Jenny Thorp is Head of DMH Stallard’s Public Sector Group and a Partner within the Employment Group. She deals with a wide range of employment law issues for employers mainly within the public sector and has developed a good understanding of the constraints within which public sector organisations work. She provides advice at both a strategic and operational level and works closely with both in-house legal and HR teams as well as client departments. Jenny has a particular interest in discrimination claims, having handled a number of multi-day and multi-respondent discrimination cases in the Employment Tribunal for Local Authorities and other public sector organisations. She appears regularly as an advocate in the Employment Tribunal. Jenny frequently advises clients on TUPE issues and has vast experience in advising transferees, transferors and Councils on this complex area and also defending TUPE claims in the Tribunal. Jenny delivers in-house training to clients and regularly speaks at seminars and conferences.
