She is a member of several advisory boards including the West Virginia Women's Education Forum; Marshall University Forensic Science Advisor; International Association of Defense Counsel; Marshall University School of Pharmacy curriculum developer and lecturer (Pharmacy Law).
She is a founding Member of Farrell & Farrell, LC which became Farrell, Farrell & Farrell PLLC in 1997 and then Farrell, White and Legg PLLC in 2011. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she practiced in clinical nursing and hospital administration as a Registered Nurse.
She has numerous publications. By example, Chapter Pharmaceutical Law and Policy (2007 to date); ABA Health Law Division; Defense Law Journal - "The Medicare Secondary Payer Act" and West Virginia University Law Review.
In May, 2011, Tammy achieved a Master's in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland with an emphasis on insurance, economics and policy.
