Chambers and Partners Round-Tables

Chambers and Partners round-tables are small events focused on law firm clients.  The round-tables typically bring together 12-15 people, predominantly clients, but with selected private practice lawyers and/or barristers to discuss key legal topics of interest under Chatham House Rules.

Regulatory and Market Developments in the Private Funds Market (London, February 2012)
Attendees included representatives from leading European and US PE houses. Topics covered included:
- How is fund raising likely to play out in 2012 and what are going to be the key commercial pressure points
- How are GPs preparing for regulatory change (AIFM, Dodd Frank including Volcker etc)
- Is the traditional funding model the right model for the future? What alternatives are there?
