• Advised Pierre Balmain on the establishment of two joint ventures with Stella International Holdings Limited for the distribution and sale of “Pierre Balmain” brand footwear and other products in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other countries
• Advised Carlsberg Group on its acquisition of an additional shareholding in Chongqing Brewery Co. Ltd., a Chinese company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange
• Advised the giant Chinese agribusiness COFCO on the acquisition of Château de Viaud, a leading vineyard set in the prestigious Lalande-de-Pomerol wine growing area in France
• Assisted IFC (International Finance Corporation), a member of the World Bank Group, and IFC Capitalization Fund with investing up to US$182 million in equity and US$125 million in subordinated debt in Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, commonly known as VietinBank
• Advised Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank on its partnership with CITIC Securities in global equity business
• Advised Capgemini on its acquisition of Praxis (Beijing) Technology Ltd., a specialist developer and provider of IT services in China
• Advised SEB, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cookware and small domestic appliances, on the acquisition of a further stake in Zhejiang Supor, a leading manufactuer of cookware and rice cookers which is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange
