Practice Areas: Kathy Patrick focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities law, creditor recovery litigation, and institutional investor litigation. Representative clients include: Huntsman Corporation, PIMCO, BlackRock, Trust Company of the West, Invesco, Western Asset Management, Ambac Assurance, the former outside directors of Enron Corporation and the State of Arizona. Kathy recently secured an $8.5 billion settlement with Bank of America on behalf of 22 institutional investors in connection with 530 securitization pools that issued over $424 billion of Countrywide-issued mortgage-backed securities. The Wall Street Journal profiled Kathy in an article entitled, "An Unlikely Bulldog for Mortgage Investors," and Forbes magazine called her “the woman Wall Street fears most.”
