Litigation: General Commercial (Band 2)Profile
Practice Areas: Practice Group Leader of the firm's National Securities Litigation Group. She served as the lead lawyer representing issuers, directors, officers and underwriters in over three dozen securities class actions. She obtained one of the largest Rule 11 sanctions against plaintiffs and their counsel for filing a frivolous securities fraud case. She was a founding member of the Volunteer Lawyers' Project for the Southern District of Florida, providing pro bono assistance to indigent clients. She's currently the co-Chair for the fundraising campaign for Miami Legal Services and a frequent lecturer at the state and national level on securities topics.
