Career: Lawrence S. Schaner, co-chair of the International Arbitration Practice, focuses on complex commercial disputes in courts and before arbitral tribunals. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law, where he teaches international arbitration. He is a vice-chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee, member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration, chair of the USCIB Midwest Arbitration Committee and the editor of Dispute Resolution International.
