Practice Areas: Ms. Nichols is the firm’s National Practice Group Leader for the Securities Litigation Group. She has served as the lead lawyer representing issuers, directors, officers and underwriters in over three dozen securities class actions. She obtained one of the largest Rule 11 sanctions against plaintiffs and their counsel for filing a frivolous securities fraud case. She is a frequent lecturer at the state and national level on securities topics. She was a founding member of the Volunteer Lawyers' Project for the Southern District of Florida, providing pro bono assistance to indigent clients.
