Practice Areas: Tom advises numerous financial institutions in the Southeast concerning bank and thrift regulatory matters. His experience includes formation of bank holding companies, forming new banks, service as an organizer and a director of a de novo bank which was successfully sold, acquiring thrifts, and advising on the use of securities to provide capital for financial institutions and to finance acquisitions. Tom has served for many years as counsel in connection with securities underwriting and represents public companies and other clients involved in mergers and acquisitions.
