Career: Tom Wearsch has experience in a broad range of matters, including sophisticated corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, distressed mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, debt finance and commercial law. His practice focuses on advising both distressed and healthy corporations, financial institutions, equity funds, hedge funds, bondholders and investors in all types of transactions and restructurings related to troubled company situations. Tom has been corporate and transactional counsel to numerous corporations involved in Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. He practices with a particular emphasis on restructurings and sale transactions of distressed companies both inside and outside Chapter 11 proceedings.
