Practice Areas: Edward specialises in commodity finance, real estate finance, acquisition finance, syndicated loans and debt restructuring. He has particular expertise in energy finance, advising international banks on loan facilities to major Russian oil and gas companies. Edward's recent experience includes advising EBRD on an convertible loan to OAO Inter RAO UES, advising Eni on a US$2 billion agreement with Rosneft to finance oil and gas exploration an three offshore fields, and advising international banks in relation to most of Rosneft's syndicated loans since 2001 and to date, totalling around US$20 billion.
