Practice Areas: With over 30 years of experience, Joel Smith focuses his national trial practice on the defense of product liability claims, with an emphasis on automotive and pharmaceutical cases. As a first-chair trial lawyer, he has extensive experience defending high-profile, catastrophic exposure claims and class actions, as well as experience in congressional investigations and recalls.
Professional Memberships: He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and member of the Product Liability Advisory Council.
Career: Mr. Smith has represented manufacturers of automobiles, tires, forklifts and other equipment as well as consumer products and pharmaceuticals nationwide.
