Practice Areas: An environmental lawyer with more than 40 years of civil and criminal environmental litigation and counseling experience, Mr. Stever’s practice includes air, water, solid and hazardous waste, CERCLA, noise, environmental impact assessment, natural resource damages, environmental torts and constitutional environmental litigation, oil spill counseling and litigation, and maritime environmental compliance counseling, primarily for industrial clients. He has also had considerable experience in transactional environmental law, having managed environmental due diligence and transactional negotiations for hundreds of M&A, project finance, and capital markets transactions. He is the author of a leading treatise, Law of Chemical Regulation and Hazardous Waste.
