Practice Areas: Toby Knapp is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions practices and is Co-Chair of the firm’s Private Equity & Investment Management Practice. He represents clients in public and private capital raising, business combination and investment transactions and advises on matters of corporate governance and federal securities law.

Career: Mr. Knapp’s experience includes counseling corporate clients and their boards on a variety of corporate transactions and corporate governance matters. He has led transactions in a range of industries, including Automotive, Clean Energy, Defense & Aerospace, Media, Technology, Financial Services and Investment Management. Mr. Knapp also advises private equity and asset management clients on a variety of private fund and portfolio company transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of portfolio company interests, growth equity investments, and the formation of private investment funds. Mr. Knapp is proficient in Russian and has experience in Russia and other CIS States.
