Practice Areas: Philip Markowitz, a Member of the firm’s Real Estate Department, represents purchasers, developers and sellers, with respect to many asset types. Specifically, he has experience with transactions involving grocery-anchored shopping centers, hotels and industrial property, whether a single-asset deal, a portfolio transaction or by joint venture. In addition, he has a national retail-leasing practice, with ground leases, and associated development agreements, being a large subset of such practice. He also works on New York-based office leasing, and branch-bank leases throughout the United States.
