Practice Areas: James Quinn is an accomplished trial lawyer who specializes in high-stakes commercial matters across all areas of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including antitrust, securities, false advertising, sports, patent, IP, product liability and insurance. Recent representations include: advising Simon & Schuster on the resolution of government antitrust investigations into the e-book industry and related private class actions; obtaining the dismissal, affirmed on appeal, for CBS and certain of its officers of a multi-billion dollar securities class action; representing Exxon as lead trial counsel in a high-profile matter regarding the use of MTBE in gasoline; and representing the NFL players, NBA players, and NHL players in the resolution of high-profile lockout disputes with, respectively, the NFL, NBA, and NHL.
