Practice Areas: Paul Dykstra has represented mutual funds or their boards throughout the country for more than 30 years. He also counsels independent fund directors involved in corporate reorganizations and internal or SEC investigations. A frequent speaker and author on mutual fund and independent director issues, he co-authored The Fund Director's Guidebook for the American Bar Association and, along with K&L Gates’ Chicago partner Paulita Pike, was named “Independent Counsel of the Year” by Fund Directions in 2008. Mr. Dykstra and Ms. Pike also teach a course on mutual fund regulation at Northwestern University Law School.
